I get Extension in use on my home phone

Can you please explain & provide further details?

What kind of phone system do you have? Cordless? Wired to a jack? How many devices? Connections? Manufacturer? Model? How is it hooked up?

If you have more than one phone, have you unplugged them all & then plugged them back in one at a time?

Checked for defective handset? Frayed cord or wiring?

I communicated with a virtual agent on MyBell. He determined that the problem was my outside cable to Bell box. Bell will replace cable.
