McAfee for Bell stopped working after installing Windows update this morning
I have been running McAfee from Bell for many years now on a Windows 10 computer. This morning, some Windows updates were installed, not sure if it is related but McAfee stopped working. I cannot get the app to open, so I cannot even see if it has an update to do. I thought I would uninstall and then reinstall from the Bell website but every time I try to download, the website takes me back to the original link that I just clicked on.
Would like some help if possible.

Hi, Following up on my item below which was added to this post even though my issue was not related to the original post.
Called Bell Technical support, they put me in touch with McAfee and using the task scheduler, McAfee was updated. Apparently this is a known issue and it can be resolved with the latest update.
Not sure why I was not able to download the McAfee software from the Bell site and do a re-install--they did not acknowledge that issue at all, just pushed me to McAfee. However, the McAfee person I spoke with got the software working for me again.
