Hello, I have a Bell Modem 4000 that just recently turn off on me. I attempt to turn it off and back on again after 30 seconds but still was off.
I notice that when the power supply for it is plug in it slowly blink the green led and when unplugged it a solid green. Is there something wrong with the modem?

That sounds like a defective unit as it has no power switch and should always power up itself. If the transformer is properly seated in the power socket, I would conclude you have a detective unit.
I would contact a Bell agent to further discuss.

Any error codes on the modem display?
When you say turn off on you, do you mean physically powering down, or you just lost the internet but the modem stays powered on?

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.
Please do the following:
- Verify you have power at the power source that the Home Hub is plugged in to. Start with the source power outlet. Is there power? Use a tester, a lamp, etc. to check for power? Yes or no?
- If no, check the breaker or fuse panel. Verify it is not a blown fuse or breaker problem?
- Are you using a power bar for your source of power to your modem? If yes, verify it is working, plugged in no fuse blown, & it is not switched off, etc.
- If you have power to where your Bell modem 4000 cord plugs in to its power source, but your modem does not show a power on light indicator, then unplug it from the power source & call Bell Customer Service Tech Support for assistance at: 1 844 310-SURF (7873)
- If there is no power at all being directed to the modem, then you will need to contact an electrician, maintenance man, superintendent or whomever to look in to your power issue.
Thank you for posting your question.
Take care.

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.
Can you provide us with some further information? Is this a new installation or is this an upgrade or repair modem replacement? Was this an Internet modem Self-install ?
Please do the following:
- Verify you have power at the power source that the Home Hub is plugged in to. Start with the source power outlet. Is there power? Use a tester, a lamp, etc. to check for power? Yes or no?
- If no, check the breaker or fuse panel. Verify it is not a blown fuse or breaker problem?
- Are you using a power bar for your source of power to your modem? If yes, verify it is working, plugged in no fuse blown, & it is not switched off, etc.
- If you have power to where your Bell Giga Hub cord plugs in to its power source, but your modem does not show a power on light indicator, then unplug it from the power source & call Bell Customer Service Tech Support for assistance. Please call: 1 866 797-8686
- If there is no power at all being directed to the modem, then you will need to contact an electrician, maintenance man, superintendent or whomever to look in to your power issue.
If the problem continues & there are no power issues to the modem, you will need to contact Bell Fibe TV tech support for further in-depth testing & analysis. There could be a hardware issue with the modem itself.
Thank you for posting your question.
Take care.
