In September I was in France and was unable to connect to Bell webmail to get my email from my cellphone (Android, Chrome) nor from my ipad, from the first day I was out of country. When I entered the url, the Android screen just shows 3 spinning black dots but the website never comes up and the ipad just shows the spinning circle but the website never comes in. All other websites were accessible from both devices. When I returned back to Canada, I put off calling Bell Support about it for about 2 days, and then on the 3rd day, I was once again able to access webmail from my cellphone and ipad miraculously without me doing anything.
In November I was again out of Canada in Europe and Africa, with the same problem with my cellphone and ipad. In addition, my email application, Em Client on my PC at home in Canada, stopped accessing my sympatico email on the same day that my cellphone stopped accessing webmail, which was the 3rd day I was out of the country. Note that this problem did not occur when I was out of the country in September. Now I have been home for 3 days already and my access from my cellphone, ipad and Em Client app have not corrected themselves.
I have called Bell Support twice and received no help – the first time I was told that they just have no resolution to offer, period, and the 2nd time I was told that it is a problem with Samsung, Apple and em Client and to contact them or subscribe to paid tech support for an answer.
I have cleared caches and histories and restarted my devices, I have tried accessing webmail with various browsers (IE, Bing, Chrome, Ecoasia). I have changed passwords. Nothing works.
My main concern is to regain access to webmail from my email app, em client, otherwise I will lose my email history.
Has anyone found a solution to regaining access to webmail once returning to Canada from overseas?

No I still do not have access.
It would be helpful if you could offer a solution or a way to get a solution from Bell Tech Support.

Hi there @Sunnybono,
Welcome to the Bell Community.
Can you share exactly what happens when you try to access Bell Webmail via a web browser; i.e. are you getting a specific error message? Are you able to test a different browser/device?
If you are still having trouble we also recommend trying out the suggestion @BellNick posted above.
Let us know how everything is going.

We have the same problem. My husband has this problem every year when we go to Mexico. His Sympatico mail works for a few days then stops sending or receiving. There's an error on his iPhone that says "unable to track outgoing mail server". He restarted the phone, no luck. Checked settings - nothing has changed and they look to be correct.
Any fix for this?

Hi there @Dan666,
Welcome to the Bell Community, and thank you for reaching out.
Can you clarify if you are using a third party email client (such as outlook), or if you are accessing the email on a web browser?
As suggested by @BellNick above, please try to reset your network settings, and then test to see if the issue persists.
If you are using a third party email client you can erase the mailbox, and then set it back up from scratch.
You also mentioned that this has happened in the past and we are interested to know if you recall how you resolved this previously?
Hope to hear back from you.

He's using iPhone/Apple mail. For some reason, it seemed to work later yesterday sending a test message. Nothing changed.
Prior to that, he didn't get any mail after January 28. I don't remember what we did last year, but it seemed to work fine when we got home.
I've tried to get it to work with my Android on Outlook but I've never been able to make it work (many years of trying).

Glad to hear that your husbands email is working properly now @Dan666.
Check out this thread Sympatico email
where @WelshTerrier posted a link to Bell Email server settings. Just follow that link for more details on how to access Bell email on a smartphone.
Don't hesitate to join the conversation over there if you continue to have any trouble.
