I purchased a wi-fi extender some time ago. Had no problem with installation or connection. Recently upgraded to Fibe with the Giga Hub modem. I repeated the installation and you can see the extender on the network list. However when I try to log in any device, it keeps coming up with "wrong password". I can log in directly, but not through the extender. Am I missing some setting on the modem?

Just to let you know, it works now. After doing a factory reset, installing a firmware update and going through a setup I didn't have to do before I can now connect a device 😁

Hi. I have the same issue with a Dlink wifi range extender. I did factory reset the extender a couple of times. It does connect to the modem but I can't connect my accessories to the Dlink wifi because it says Incorrect password. How did you do a firmware update? On the modem or the extender? I don't know how to do a firmware update on the extender. Hope you can help because I wish I would not have to buy a Bell bot or different wifi extender model if I can make mine work. I have a Dlink wifi extender 1330 and a Giga Hub modem. Thanks!

Hello,
I went to www.mywifiext.net and used their setup assistant. Hold the reset button down for 7-10 sec to do a factory reset first. Open the setup. then you can update the firmware and get connected. Have to re-enter the password though.

I’m having the exact same problem. When you say a factory reset solved it, did you factory reset the extender or the GigaHub?
