Clarification On unlimited internet usage

Could I get clarification from someone in the know about Bell’s claim of ‘unlimited usage’ as applied to internet.

i have just changed my copper wifii to Fibre, changed my plan to ‘unlimited’ but when I read the order confirmation it claims ‘you’ve signed for an internet plan with limited usage …’. What does that mean?!

Before switching I had an ‘unlimited usage’ plan only to discover there was a limit unless I paid an additional $15 a month to MAKE IT TRULY UNLIMITED.  Before I contact customer support I thought I would see what the forum input is.

Thanks.

What is the speed of the plan you signed up for?

150 mps.  Not sure what the speed has to do with it since ALL the plans, regardless of upload download all say inlimited.

Not sure what you signed up for then. You should carefully check your order to see exactly what plan you signed up for.

At one point there were plans that were limited and could be made unlimited by paying an extra $15/month, but those are all gone online.

I guess the essential question is,  if they advertise ‘unlimited’ is it truly unlimited?  Or do you have to pay beyond the advertised ‘unlimited’ rate to actually get unlimited.

That is,  I signed up for ‘unlimited’ and then they tell me my I am limited when I receive the contract.

Anyway.
