The View button does not change the layout of my bell.net email display.
I can only see a column of folders on the left hand side of screen and a column of incoming emails right to the bottom of the right hand side of screen. When I select an email the font changes to be unbolded, but I cannot see the content/body of the email on my iPad. What could be causing this problem? I get this standard answer “On the Mail tab, select View in the upper right of the screen.” The problem is that the View does not work for me. Can anyone help?
Same thing is happening on my sympatico.ca email display.

Bell obviously has no interest in resolving this issue as it has persisted now for over four months……

The “View” can NOT be changed to “List” or “Horizontal”
It is stuck at “Vertical”!!!
This is on our 2 iPads & 2 iPhones
It’ been like this for over 6 months now and no solution
This makes it very difficult to check email on smaller screens
It works fine on our pc’s

See Dougm51’s description.
Also, print preview does not work. Just hangs on command.

Hey there @Dougm51 & @Judy420,
Thanks for getting back to us 🙂
Check out our Helpful reply
where we explain that the default view is set to vertical on iPads/iPhones.
@Judy420, have you tested using print preview in any other program to see if you notice the same issue?

Patricia
That is not the way it was!!!
Sometime in the fall of 2023 I could change the View as I preferred, now I can’t on any of my devices.
Why doesn’t someone admit they don’t how to fix it.
You keep dancing around the issue but never resolve it

Yes, it is annoying and there are other problems with viewing emails, one I discovered is you can’t download attachments like photos or pdf’s that you receive in the email on the iPad and printing does not work. About all I can do is view and delete my emails. Like I said in November why doesn’t Bell return to the version before they did the last update in the fall of 2023. The problem is the update done in the fall.
I am certainly having my issues with Bell. I also have a Bell Fibe TV issue, when I turn on my lights in the basement it shuts down my Fibe TV boxes. At first I thought it was me because every time I went to the basement my wife would call me back because the TV box crashed. But it only blocks the Wifi to the Fibe TV not the internet or phone. LED lights must give off a frequency signal that interferes or blocks the Fibe TV box, it is just weird. You would think Bell’s Modems Wifi would use a frequency that absolutely would get no interference from other wireless devices.

I have not sen a benefit to the version change that was made in the fall of 2023.
To fix the current issues users are having, and that Bell cannot or will not fix.
I would suggest that the software version be rolled back to the pre-November(?) version.
Simple solution!!
