Giga Hub denying access to Wi-Fi

Up until the 2nd week of November 2022 I had stable 50meg/8megs internet on copper with a HH3000, no issues whatsoever. Then came the lure of an upgrade available to 1.5 GBPS on Fibre on a similar price point. I switched and things went downhill from there. I have had 3 Gig hubs replaced. They all work for a few days and then deny access to the wifi, Lan ports work no problem. Even if you go into the GUI, the manage Wifi page stays blank. No amount of restarts or factory resets fixes the problem. The virtual tool is not useful either. I am thinking of either cancelling or downgrading to a 4K modem or back to copper.

Thanks for getting back to me Patricia. I was using multiple modems in Dhcp Off mode for wifi only and that was triggering all kinds of behaviour from the Giga Hub. Once I did some trial and error it finally stabilized. Funny the same setup worked flawlessly with the HH 3000.  Now I am only using 1 Gig Hub for the whole home and it’s fine.  Took 3 modem swaps to reach stability.

Regards

Hi there @22NC, thank you for reaching out to the Bell Community.

The Community needs a bit more information in order to help.

  • Is this happening on all devices, and can you share the make and model of any devices that are affected?
  • Do you notice this at a specific time each day?
  • Do you have multiple modems connected to one another?

Looking forward to your reply.
