Hi, I just upgrade to the fibe 3.0 internet and a technician just install the new Giga hub 2.0 modem. So far everything seem to be ok BUT I can’t find the password to access the modem configurations.
I did try to find it in the "Modem Management" section of the modem but I have no other option available in the section apart from a QR code to scan with my phone…when I scan the QR code it open the usual webpage to have access to the modem configurations and I have to enter a password but I can’t find it. I look everywhere on the modem in every sections but I can’t find it. I tried the usual ‘’admin’’ password and it’s not working. I tried the S/N on the back of the modem, the one who begin with DM but it’s not working.
Since the Giga 2.0 is new, I can’t find an instructions manual online.
if someone know where to find the password and what I need to do to find it on the modem in the management modem section, I will appreciate the help!
thanks!

here’s how you can find the default password depending on your modem:
- Giga Hub 2.0/Giga Hub/Home Hub 4000 : Press the up/down arrows on the front of the modem until "Modem Management" is selected and press OK.
- Home Hub 3000 : Use the serial number located on the sticker on the back of the modem.
- Home Hub 2000, 3000, 4000, Giga Hub
- The default password is the serial number located on the sticker on the back of the modem.
- Home Hub 1000, 2Wire, Connection Hub
- The default password is “admin”.
I have had the most success with admin as password rather than the sticker.

On my modem, the password is to the right of the QR code on the Modem Management page.

Hi @BellNick,
Sadly I wasn’t able to find the password. I have nothing write on the right of the QR code in the modem management section. Maybe it’s an error in the French software of the modem?
