Home Hub 3000 - Battery custom settings

I have managed to find a brand new battery replacement for my home hub 3000 from an online retailer. It's now installed and at 100%. I wanted to go in the battery settings to control what remains powered during an outage, in my case, i only need the phone line and the ethernet ports to remain active, and i want to disable wifi. Unfortunately, the custom button and the associated page for it are gone entirely! I know it existed before, i've used it just a few years back. what was the page link for it? i want to see if it still exists inside the router.

Thank you for your question. You may have had the modem firmware upgraded at some point the feature may have been removed. It is also possible that you may have to turn off Whole Home Internet, if you have not done so already. It is also not possible to turn off all WiFi services in the modem. Some, which are hidden, are always active.

Good Day.

I wish I could help you. I cannot find anything past or present that will allow you to do what you would like to do. It certainly makes sense & is a pretty good idea.

There are no settings on the Home Hub 3000 that can be changed to control the remaining power during an outage. There is no option built into the modem to control & turn the power off / on for the individual services.

Stay connected during a power outage (bell.ca)

Take care.
