How do I enable new webmail notifications?

I don’t get notified if I get new mail, how do I enable this?

Hey there @Lisa1, thank you for getting back to us.
While there isn't a notification setting available directly in Bell Webmail, you will see the number of unread messages change and also any new emails will be listed right at the top of your Inbox.

Where is it that you are not receiving the notification; directly through Bell Webmail or are you referring to notifications on a device such as a mobile phone/tablet?

My apologies…on my cell phone…texts notifications 

Good Day.

@Lisa1  As a starting point, Bell Webmail does not have an incoming notification setting. If you are using an email client there are settings within the email client app that will notify of incoming Bell Webmail. If you are not using an email client, your only email notification will be a visual indication that will show the number new emails & any unread messages that are in your Inbox.

If your issue is something different, we will do our best to assist you. To do so, we need you to provide further information:

  1. Which device are you using to access your Bell Webmail? Make & model?
  2. How are you accessing your Bell Webmail? Browser ? Safari? Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, etc.
  3. Are you using an email client? If so, which one? Outlook, Apple Mail, Mail, etc.
  4. Are you accessing your from more that one device, location or mail program?
  5. Is your issue related to not being notified of incoming mail or you are not receiving incoming mail?
  6. Have you tried accessing your mail from another device, client, etc.?
  7. Can you access your Bell Wemail using a different tool to access your mail?
  8. Is your iOS or OS up to date?
  9. Are your apps up to date?
  10. If using a browser, have you cleared cache, cookies, etc. Are you tring to access your mail with a saved device password?
