Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.
I have included two different methods for viewing & changing your Wi-Fi password.
1. Bell Wi-Fi app - Password Change
First, you’ll need to download and open the Bell Wi-Fi app.
Finding your Wi-Fi password
- Open the Bell Wi-Fi app and log in with your MyBell username and password
- On the top of the Adapt screen, touch the hidden Wi-Fi password. The existing password is shown.
Changing your Wi-Fi name and/or password
- Open the Bell Wi-Fi app and log in with your MyBell username and password
- On the Adapt section of the home screen, touch the Settings (gear) icon.
- To rename your network, touch the Pencil icon, enter a name and then touch Done.
- To change your Wi-Fi password, touch the three stacked dots beside your hidden Wi-Fi password.
- Touch Edit to change the password.
- Touch Done and then Update once you have confirmed the new Wi-Fi password.
- Try to connect to your Wi-Fi network using this password.
2. Web Browser - Wi-Fi Password Change
First, you’ll need to log into your modem.
- Open a new browser tab.
- Depending on your connected status, enter the below:
- Bell.ca/mymodem if connected to the internet already.
- 192.168.2.1 if not connected to the internet.
- Click Manage my Wi-Fi.
- If prompted, enter the administrator password. Unless you have already changed it, the default password is the serial number located on the sticker found on the back of your modem.
- Ensure your Primary Wi-Fi network is set to ON.
- You can now view or change the network name and password.
- Click Save to apply any changes you have made.
Keep in mind that you will also need to change the password in all of your devices that connect to your Wi-Fi network.
Take care.

If you are referring to username and password that is needed for the modem or hub to connect Bell internet the username beginning with b1 will be is accessible if you log into "my bell" and click onto My services. Next to Internet you will see the b1xxx user name. I had to call bell support to get the password which was used by the bell technician 30 years ago!

My father-in-law has forgotten his password for his home hub 3000. We want to help him reset to default so he can program a new password, but there is no cell phone service in the area, so just want to know if resetting to factory would turn off his phone line and need Bell intervention?

Have you tried the default password?
Unless your father-in-law has changed the default password for his Home Hub 3000 modem, the password for his modem would be the serial number on the sticker on the back of the modem. If you do a factory reset, it will reset all of your personal settings to factory default. You may need assistance with some form of communication to enter information.
I would suggest that you contact Bell Fibe TV tech support beforehand before making changes.
Let the Community know if you have any further questions or if needing additional assistance. Take care

If you reset the modem to default, the password will also be reset to either the SN on sticker at the back of the modem, or admin.
I found out the hard way after receiving a new modem and calling tech support, that the default can also be admin... (This is not mentioned anywhere on the Bell help pages).
Not sure why you want to change the password to the modem if everything is working, but that is how you would quickly do it if you forgot the password you used.

My home internet/wifi has been going down on and off for the last 24 hours and is now completely down. When I try to reset the password it doesn’t send a password to the account attached to it and it doesn’t allow the password back of the modem. How can I reset the password here?

Login to the modem with a wired connection, and reset the password from within the WiFi modem menu.

Good Day.
Have you verified that your Wi-Fi networking is up and running on any other devices? Have you confirmed your password? Your password is case sensitive.
Do you have good Wi-Fi signal?
Try deleting your Wi-Fi network connection on your device. Verify your OS is up to date. Reboot your device & set up a new connection on your device.
Let us know if you require further help.
Take care.
