How do I identify which device is the correct device to block with the Bell Wi-Fi app?

I’m trying to set up a custom Freeze Schedule on the control section of the Bell app for home internet. I continue to inadvertently block the wrong device. I have tried to compare the IP addresses but I keep getting it wrong and I cannot clearly decipher which of the devices is my child’s iPad versus our iPhone, for example. The descriptions that I’m given of the devices is not always clear. How to identify correctly each device on the network? Thank you.

Easiest way would be to block 1 device and see which device is loosing it's internet connection. After a few tries you should end up blocking the correct device.

Well there should be a better way … I don’t understand why the device name doesn’t appear … some other network providers makes our lives easier with devices controlling… just saying

Depends on the device operating system. Some do not use the standard API and will show up with no or a difficult to understand name.

It does go by MAC address, so you could always identify a device by it's unique MAC address.
