Iphone Calendar not syncing with Mail/Outlook Calendar for sympatico.ca email

My Iphone (I think 11) calendar gets no updates from the calendar I use in Outlook. I amusing dav.webmail.bell.net as the calendar server on the phone, the account validates fine but calendar entries on the phone do not show in Bell / Outlook nor do changes I make in outlook appear on the phone. I can find no troubleshooting for this specific to Bell / sympatico. Anyone else have this problem? Note: I do not use Bell webmail so the issue may be on Outlook not the iphone ... anyone have any ideas?

Good day @SteveG@smlunatick,

If you want to sync your Calendar to your device or email software, you can do so using CalDAV (Calendar) and CardDAV (Contacts). Check out the email server settings for more information on the settings you need to use: Using Bell emailOpens in a new tab or window

Have a great day,

Hi @SteveG,

Welcome to the Bell Community, and thanks for your post.

Is this a new issue, or have you used the feature successfully in the past?

Are you able to add an entry to the calendar directly in your Bell email while logged in on a browser, and then test to see if it syncs with your iPhone?

You can also find a step by step on our website How to set up my Bell email calendars on my Apple iPhoneOpens in a new tab or window

Hi Patricia, no, it has never worked and I believe I followed the instructions but will check again and also try it via the web vs outlook

Hi Patricia, sorry for the late response. I did check and if I add a calendar entry via the web interface it works and sync's to my phone BUT it does not show up in my outlook 2013 calendar on the PC app. I did also reconfirm the settings (the sixteen steps you referred to above) are set up correctly and it has never sync'd changes from my Outlook 2013 PC app to the phone

How can I get my Bell email calendar access in Outlook?

@BellPatricia : As mentioned, in my case I have done this. It works when I use web mail -- calendar on server and iphone sync. When I use outlook 2013 on my desktop PC, it does not reflect on iphone or Webmail Perhaps my Outlook 2013 setup is wrong but as I noted, I followed all the steps / setup as identified in the links (you/Bell) provided.

Good day @SteveG,

Thank you for letting us know.

If this is still happening you could try to remove your Bell email from Outlook, then re-add the email address and calendar settings from scratch.

Let us know how everything is going.

Hi BellPatricia, i finally got back to this ... i did remove the account and re add it to no avail. I then did more research and see I may have needed to download a sync tool "CalDav Synchronizer" and I played with that and seem to have gotten it to work. I did not see anywhere that I needed an additional plug-in to make this work, and it is likely documented somewhere but not anywhere that leapt out to me. I am updating this in case it helps someone else. Steve

I view email/calendar/contacts on Webmail (Firefox V. 125.0.3) and IOS on Iphone 13 and Ipad. None of email/calendar/contacts seem to sync completely between the three devices. I can add a calendar entry on my Iphone but it doesn't show on Webmail, and might show after some time on Ipad. Frustrating as I swap between devices. My dav.webmail.bell.net user names and passwords are the same on all devices. Any solution would be appreciated.

Hello guys could you please tell me the correct CardDav web address? how it has to be written on the web, to be able to enter my email and password, to see my contacts on the web straight.

Thank you!

I'm using the Outlook 365 desktop app, and while my email syncs fine, I'm not able to get my Contacts or Calendar to sync at all despite repeated tries using the Bell settings found on the internet. Any ideas how to get my Contacts and Calendar to sync in Outlook 365 desktop app?
