Hi @LisaB73
Hopefully one of the Bell Community managers who are active on this forum will post here to give you the assistance you need.
Meantime, here's a thought or two.
Did this happen when Bell's contractor was working on your street, like doing fibre work?
If you're not a Bell customer I suggest you call Bell asap (1-800-268-4213) and go from there.
If you're a customer with a recent installation, call that number above and try to speak to someone in new orders and installations. They certainly will have the details on your order, install date, etc.
You should take some pics of the damage.
Cheers,
ZaneP

Hi,
For property damage, you should call 1-800-268-4213. The lady helped me raise the complaint ticket after I explained my situation and location. Today I was contacted by Bell specialist and know "our (Bell) contractors are actively restoring all areas where we constructed at the end of last year".
Hope it will help!

Bell Fibe was installed recently on my property, or shared property with my neighbour. I switched to Fibe. Now that I see what was under snow, I want to ask a few questions...
1. Is the access panel supposed to be removable by anyone? I'm afraid some child could easily come around and fall in. Doesn't look safe. Even to stand on. In fact it looks like the area could turn into a sink hole. It's a deep hole in the ground with a cheap cover on it. I don't know how this passes ANY safety standard.
2. Is this access panel really made of plastic and warping in different temperatures? Why is it not metal and secure? It's had the sun on it now and has not gone flat again.
3. Is there post-installation cleanup automatically scheduled? Bell ruined a good chunk of lawn and never even put seed down. Be surprised if my neighbour hasn't called to complain yet, as he took the worst damage.
Come to think of it I better check the actual hookup to my house, if other stories I read relate to me.
AS A followup. I did remove the cover at least to see in a bit, once i saw wires, I just closed it. It's not as flimsy as first thought, has a bit of weight to it. It has a deep lip, however its also not stable either. I did not fully remove the cover but still it's weird to me that this is deemed a proper safe installation, it looks like a hack job and I question the safety around it all. I am hoping Bell does come around to inspect these recent installations.

Who do we talk to in order to get our lawns repaired.
In our neighborhood, I personally have 4 large patches of lawn destroyed by the Fibe installation. Seed was put down at the end of October (in Ottawa), surprisingly it hasn't taken....upon the snow melt, each of these patches now have a "sink hole" of various depths based on settling of the "soil" put back to cover the holes dug, There are at least 4 lawns in the immediate neighborhood with similar issues. Also, I now have a multitude of rocks in my lawn...this will damage my lawn mower, and potentially any vehicles nearby if the mower catches a rock and throws it. There were no rocks on my lawn prior to this digging,
Also, the cable that comes from the box buried is fully exposed at the dig site before it goes into the poorly dug trench that funnels it to the house. I can slip my foot under it easily, but it doesnt move. This is a tripping danger and also easily run over be a lawn mower.
As per the letter sent prior to the work being performed:
"Bell will make sure everything is as is was when the work is complete"

Bell recently installed fiber optics in my front yard. During digging they pulled stones. Today they left all those large stones in the yard in a pile, threw some soil on top, and then seeds on top. Multiple attempts to get a technician visit failed - promised and did not show up. Contacts to customer support did not provide any results.
How to get it resolved?

Hey there @Jayson @LawnIssue73 & @Iouryg, thank you for reaching out to the Bell Community 🙂
We wanted to check in with you to see if you have been able to reach out to a specialist directly to open a ticket as suggested above by @ZaneP?
Keep the Community posted on how everything is going.

I live in the Forest Heights area of Kitchener. Bell has been in our neighbourhood installing lines for the past two of so months. They have been digging up lawns and drilling holes in the sidewalks. As a result of this work my driveway is caving in. I have a huge hole at the bottom of my driveway that is getting bigger and bigger as time goes on and no one is coming to fix it. We have steel plates covering the holes so pedestrians don’t fall in and so I park my car. Is Bell going to repair this? When? I am not the only one in my neighbour dealing with driveway damage. I see many houses in this situation. I’m concerned if it isn’t fixed soon, the damage is going to get worse and I won’t be able to use my driveway. Very frustrating.

Try to call 1-800-268-4213. It could help raise a ticket, and send the ticket the local Bell team. At least that was my experience.

Bell technicians came by to repair a broken box in our front yard & left 4 pieces of garbage on grass and a horrible job of replacing the sod which was brand new & now a mess 😞
