There are 3 different version of Bell MacAfee and different retail versions of MacAfee.
It's impossible to say if it's the same or not without knowing which retail version of MacAfee you are comparing it with.
You can see what is included with the 3 versions of Bell MacAfee here.

I have the Good Package offered by Bell on my bell account. I have a laptop that has the McAfee retail version pre-installed (McAfee-Premium). Could I download the Bell version without any conflict once my subscription expires? Or do I need to uninstall the retail version from my laptop before downloading the Bell Good Package to my laptop?

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.
I experienced this same issue recently when I purchased a new computer. The free McAfee-Premium version is activated as soon as you start up your computer & must be removed prior to your installation of the Bell McAfee Security Good. Did you register the free pre-install McAfee-Premium?
Have you checked to see if the Bell McAfee Security Good is currently shown as a feature on your Internet account today? To confirm this, login to your MyBell account. Select> Internet. Select > Manage my package and features.
The pre-installed McAfee Retail version that comes with many new computers, is not the same. You would need to completely remove the retail version before installing Bell McAfee Security Good.
Should you require further McAfee assistance, you can reach McAfee Customer Service at: 1-866-322-3911. Here is the link to their website: McAfee Customer Service – Official Site
FYI Only!
The Good Bell McAfee package is no longer available as of September 13, 2024. Customers who already have the free Good package included with their internet (prior to Sept 13, 2024), will be able to keep the service until they decide to modify their Internet package.
New customers signing up after Sept 14th are given the option to choose if they wish to subscribe to the Better or Best package at a monthly cost of $5/$10.
Take care.

I would uninstall the one you have, before installing the Bell version.
That being said, if you use Windows 11 or higher you do not really need McAfee as Windows defender comes pre-installed with Windows 10/11 and basically perform the same functions as McAfee.
It's up to you if you want to use McAfee or not, just something to consider.
