I cannot find any related questions, so I am asking for help.
Last year around the same time, Bell's people came to my home and installed the modem, which is a Bell Home Hub 4000. It has worked well for a year, but it's not good recently. It trips my lighting circuit breaker frequently and it happens always in the morning. No light is turned on, any other working devices are still working well, so I suspect it is because the modem. I also have called electrician to check the outlet which my modem uses, everything was ok, so it's not because of outlet itself.
The thing is getting frustrating! I wonder if any people had similar issues before? How to solve this? Could Bell replace my modem?

Hi @eddywei
Bell would likely replace your modem. If it keeps happening after a modem swap then you should be prepared to solve the problem, with the help of an electrician.
Call 1-844-310-7873.

Hi there @eddywei
Thanks for your post and welcome to the Community.
We would recommend moving your modem to another power-outlet tied to a different breaker if available or removing other devices / electronics around to a different breaker.

Thanks for your advice @BellNick ! Yeah, I can move it to another outlet but it has to go through a aisle. Moreover the fibre is inside the closet so it is very inconvenient for me to do so.
The breaker only responsible for lights, washroom and the outlet inside the closet (where my modem should plug to). However, every time the breaker tripped it was the morning, no lights are turned on and I also never plug any electronics in washroom in the morning. This is why I think the modem tripped the breaker.

Hi @eddywei
If you're able to, even if it's just temporary for a few days to help determine the cause of this.
Keep the Community updated on how that goes.
