We have the Giga Hub and 6E pods. The network self-optimizes as it's designed to, but the problem is that it does so at inconvenient times. While it's optimizing, everything goes down (wi-fi, TV). I've explored the app and the online modem dashboard but I cannot find a setting that would enable me to pause optimizing during certain times (for example during work hours). The system works very well otherwise.
What I'm looking for is a feature similar to the "pause updates" feature in Windows.

It simply was suggested settings if you're turning Network optimization off in the Gigahub gateway:
Gigabit Fibe 3.0 -> Bell GigaHub -> SWITCH:TP-Link TL-SX1008 10 Gbe -> NIC:10Gtek Intel X540 10Gbe

At my house, 2.4GHz is fairly saturated so I leave that one Auto / Auto, but I've found clear air space on the 5GHz and 6Ghz so I set those channels manually. Works well for me.Advanced WIFI settings

Thank you for this, but I'm not knowledgeable enough to understand how this relates to the network optimizing issue I posted about. Unless maybe it was intended for another thread?

Thank you Patricia. It happened again just now. Per the wi-fi app, the 6E pods went offline while the Giga Hub stayed up. I was sitting across the room from the Giga Hub and all the leds stayed blue, confirming it did stay up while the pods were down.

Thank you for keeping us up to date @LearningToKnow.
Can you share if you have your TV receiver connected directly to the Ethernet ports of the pods?
Hope to hear back from you soon,

Hi. Thank you for monitoring this. Nothing is connected to the ethernet ports of the pods. The 4k receiver is connected to a VAP 3400 via ethernet. Two other tv receivers are wireless. During yesterday evening's optimization two tvs kept dropping/stuttering but they did not go down completely

Oh I see now. Thank you. It seems that Bell is looking more deeply into the situation. If they're not able to come up with a workable solution, I'll likely try what you suggested. Thanks again
