Hi,

I just purchased 3 Deco X55 Mesh, wanted to know what is the best way to connect it, can I or should I by pass Giga Hub, or keep it as DHCP and deactivate WIFI and used Wifi from Deco X55?

Any one already used these Mesh with Bell Giga Hub?

Thanks for any advice or suggestion.

That’s an interesting option. I hadn’t thought of that. I only got to use my new configuration for a day before I had to leave. I’ll keep this in mind if I run into issues because just telling everyone to log into two networks and letting each device decide based on the strength of the signal which to link to at any given moment would be fine. But, for me I didn’t show two networks once I changed the mesh/DECO unit’s temporary network name and password to match, I only showed one. I wonder if my current configuration is effectively is doing the same thing - running two networks and letting the device decide.

You have also made me realize that now that our mesh is running in access point mode I probably don’t need a mesh unit on the same shelf as the Bell router. This could give me another mesh router to place strategically.
