WebMail not keeping me signed in

It seems that the backend to the "Keep me signed in" checkbox isn't working properly since about Monday or Tuesday of this week I now have to sign in about 4 or 6 times a day.

I'm using an up to date Edge browser "Version 114.0.1823.58 (Official build) (64-bit)".

Any ideas?

Tnx...Paul...

I agree! This is very frustrating! Bell needs to put more resources on this to resolve. Surely, when implementing changes customers should be notified beforehand, AND proper testing should have been done prior to installing any changes!

Thanks , nice to be not alone , but we are not going to get any reasonable answers until WE do something about, and again I suggest.......Contact BELL in writing at the highest level you can and do not take bafflegab for an answer, suggest directing them to this thread, we want value for our money ? do we not ?

Thank you everyone for participating in this thread.

We are aware of and currently investigating the login/logout issue with Webmail. We will update this thread on the progress as soon as we can.

Thank you.

I am sure we all ( Your Customers )   thank you for your prompt ?  response.

Maybe some Creative Whining can have results after all ?

In fairness and for some balance, I recently upgraded my internet to the FIBE Internet App. only TV will follow as soon as my new TV arrives ( Supply Chain Issues) and the install went real smooth. The upgrade in Speed / Unlimited Usage and price reduction was a great deal...congrats to Ma Bell !

Just a point the login / logout issue was happening before the upgrade

Thanks again

D.

It seemed for stabilize for three days, so I thought there was some progress being made, but now, it has resumed with me being logged out every couple of hours....

Will Bell be offering customers a credit for these weeks of being having problems with our emails?

wouldn't it be nice if we were offered a goodwill credit!  - i'm not holding my breath but one would hope that if Bell wanted to retain customers, they would do something!!
I'm still having the same issues - desktop, android, no matter what browser i'm using
and email when i am logged in takes forever to load!!

A credit would be nice, but not likely, probably just keep getting ignored.

I also thought they had fixed the problem ,a period of stability but then back to same old same old, maybe it's time to pay a visit to Mr. Rogers !

Bell has known and acknowledged that there is a problem and are working on it, and yet 3 weeks later the problem still exists. I find it hard to believe that a competent team of techies cannot yet resolve this. It makes me believe that no one is even trying to fix this issue.  There have been problems with Bell Mail before and were never fixed even though they were reported.

Your timing is quite interesting....

I was on the phone today with Bell for another matter.  I have learned to avoid dealing with anyone overseas.  After 1/2 of arguing, I finally got in contact with someone in B.C.

She corrected my first problem right away with a credit.  She could not adjust the second as her system was down but noted the time and reason for my call and suggested that I call back in 24-48 hours and provided a specified phone number.

I then advised her of the email issue (which I knew she could do nothing about), but figured perhaps she could find out more info...She spoke her her supervisor and assured me that she would connect me with someone "senior"...

Needless to say, the individual was a complete idiot...Have you (or anyone noticed), that they say they can fix the problem with their "tools", but nothing gets fixed!  I tried explaining about me and everyone else (even offered to send this person a thread of the Forum).  She denied there was a general problem and even (ironically) said my email wasn't working (when in fact) it was!

Just wondering if you (or anyone else) has been keeping track via case numbers and/or name and I.D numbers of those they speak to.

As for a credit (which I mentioned in an earlier post), this individual stated that it could definitely be offered, but only once the problem is resolved.

FYI...I have her name and id #

I have just called a Bell contact that was checking on my case and left a message for her to call me back. Will keep you posted.

LOL , good luck with that , although in all fairness I did get a call back as promised from a Bell Sales person who was trying to sell me on TV / Cell  and Landline ..said , not yet, fix the E-Mail 1st...no real response

We seem to be making progress !

I Booted Up at about 7;00 AM to-day Fri. 28 July , logged on to Ma Bell a few minutes after that ! It is still open @ 9:15 PM , same day, never logged me off...keep up the progress Ma Bell !

Yes, it has been about 48 hours and no logging me out and refreshing to the log in page, log outs when I click on a new message, etc...  Finger crossed this is now fixed.  🙂

Thanks, Bell. It appears that you have finally fixed this problem as well as the problem that the REPLY function did not work. Now if you can only fix the font/size problem that existed long before the latest update, in that the size of the text keeps changing on different lines. I also have a problem trying to MOVE TO as often when I try to file an email in a folder, as I try to scroll to a sub-folder I lose the window and have to try multiple times before I succeed.

Fyi they have Not fixed this problem as our work email is getting loged out on our new computer every 10 minutes.
