WebMail not keeping me signed in

It seems that the backend to the "Keep me signed in" checkbox isn't working properly since about Monday or Tuesday of this week I now have to sign in about 4 or 6 times a day.

I'm using an up to date Edge browser "Version 114.0.1823.58 (Official build) (64-bit)".

Any ideas?

Just wondering if you ever heard back from Bell...I thought they sort of fixed the problem for a couple of days as it did not log me out that often, but it has resumed again...

still having a problem - no matter what device / browser I use..
getting really annoying

I received a call from Bell Tech as a follow-up. She passed it on to the responsible tech group. They are aware of this problem which seems to affect some users and not others. They are working on resolving it but cannot say when it will be completed, so we just have to be patient. Meanwhile as I am using Google Chrome as my browser I  stored my email id and mail password in Google Password Manager so while I still have to keep logging in at least I do not have to type in the info each time. It's not ideal but I guess it will have to do for now.

 

I've been having the same problem for quite a few days now. It's very annoying having to login every few minutes. I think I will call Bell Tech tomorrow and talk to them. Perhaps it would help to add another voice into the mix so they know this isn't random -- that there are a few of us with this problem. 

I have told them that there are others that have posted here. They are aware that it has affected many users. You can call Bell Tech but I don't know if 310bell even know about this. When I called they even denied making any changes to their email. It's only when I managed to escalate it that I finally got the information that they were aware of the problem and are working on it. I hope you get somewhere. Keep us posted if you get more information.

Email signs out even though i click the keep me signed in box

Add me to the chorus.  There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to when  or even if it will automatically log out. Sometimes after 20 minutes and sometimes after a couple hours.  Happens on different laptops and different browsers. 

I have also noticed that since this started to happen that often it will take a long time just to load the webmail login main page. Sometimes simply timing out.  Then fine 5-10 minutes later.

Very strange, especially if it is happening to only some webmail users.

My bell e-mail shuts me out about 6 times a day forcing me to re-log in repeatedly, I have a GMail and Yahoo accts and they never shut me down,

Please do not tell me it is "Cache" associated as I empty the CACHE once every 24 hours,

When am I going to get a STABLE E-Mail Service ?

I think some progress has been made...I have been working since 3:00 p.m. this afternoon using both my desktop and laptop intermittently and at times being logged into my email simultaneously.  So far so good....

It has been suggested to clear your cache but this doesn't work.

I have escalated this up the ladder at Bell and finally got an answer that they had to move their platform from Outlook and are experiencing some problems. They are aware that some customers are having this issue and are working on fixing it, but cannot say when it will be resolved.

I am still having issues... no noticeable improvement be it desktop, tablet or phone, no matter what browser..
this is really getting to be a pain

Thanks everyone, thought I was alone in the Bell E-Mail Universe I am going to EM addy below complaining  about the poor service , maybe get a response, which I will post here...maybe we should all contact Head Office complaining...why not give it a try ?

 

Just a thought re: my Last Posting guy below surely can give us / me some answers, I am as said , going to EM corporatesecretary at BELL, explaining my /our/HIS problem  and respectfully requesting a prompt and honest response to  / my our questions re. his very unstable EM service , after all he gets paid a huge amount of money, to smilingly take our money every month , it's about time we , as Loyal Customers ( me since 1973 ) got some clear and straightforward answers...after all we are CUSTOMERS ...are we not ?

 

This is happening to me too, on my iPad! My iPad uses Safari. And I too noticed being kicked out of webmail constantly, even when I just move from webmail to another tab I have opened!
