Up until recently I was getting between 300-600 mbps on my POD and Hub over wifi. (I don't have wired connections) However, I am at best getting around 150-200 mbps on my POD now (no change with the Hub, and there was no change to my set up). I rebooted everything to see if it would make a difference, but it remains the same. This has been going on for about a week, and measured at different times throughout the day.
When I run the Bell wifi checkup, it is showing a download speed of 1.8 gbps on the hub, and 1.5 gbps on the POD - with a strong signal to all my devices. That said, I see no difference in the performance of any of my devices. I also note that the Bell wifi app is showing my devices are getting 2-3x the speed that I see when I run Speedtest or Fast.
I am curious as to why the POD speed connectivitiy has dropped in half, and why Bell keeps sending me promotions to upgrade my speed, when I can't even come close to getting the speed I pay for now.

Had a call from Technical support May 1 2025. They said they have written a fix and are testing. So hopefully it will be rolled out in a couple of weeks....

Thank you for the update, but really shouldn't a Bell employee have posted that since that is an important update?

@BellDRock Another customer has reported a fix is now being tested. This is a significant update. As you wrote on April 23 you would be updating the community.

Last update from May 8th that I received. Still no fix to be released within a Month. I will be traveling June into July. I won't be able to get a call from Technical support until July.. if I hear anything I will update this post. I sent an Email to the Bell executive through corporate.secretariat@bell.ca to voice my opinion as a stock holder and customer this morning.

6E WiFi pods are still capped at 200mb download, with upload speed of 400mb, go figure. Too bad it wasn't the other way around.

I noticed that the Plume firmware as reported by the Bell WiFi App has been updated on both the GigaHub 4000 and 6E Pods. Now the Pod connects via 6E again. Not sure how people are measuring download speeds but perhaps try again and see if this firmware helped.

Unfortunately those are the same levels we have posted a few months ago.
3.2.4.0-100-gcfa787 for HH4000-E
4.2.0-155-g1af418-pro for the 6E POD
