I have a Samsung tablet with data sim but I want to use that sim in my old Samsung S9 phone as a data only device.
When I put the sim into the S9, it won't register with the Bell network.
The phone was my phone on Bell before I upgraded so it shouldn't be locked...
Does anyone know why I can't use my old cell phone with my data only sim card?

when I go through the steps to add a tablet plan to my already existing unlimited data share plan, it only offers me a plan that is applicable to new devices not BYOD
surely you offer BYOD tablet plans

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.
Depending on your existing plan, you may not be able to do so on MyBell. If you are looking to make changes such as adding another shareable plan / tablet to your current account, you will need to visit a Bell Store and / or contact Bell Customer Services, Orders & billing at: 1 800 667-0123 or dial *611 from any Bell mobile device.
Thank you for posting your question.
Take care.

I recently bought a new iPad Pro with cellular and finding it difficult to navigate the mobile plans to see if there’s an option to add it to my plan.
Maybe my plan is not set up as shareable or something and it needs to be? Thought I’d try asking here first.

Are there any BYOD Tablet plans? I bought my own tablet directly from apple, but I can only find tablet data plans if I buy them directly from bell. Rogers allows a $20/mth shareable plan for BYOD, why doesn't Bell offer this?

did you buy a tablet from bell or directly from apple? I'm being told from the store directly this isn't possible. If I buy the tablet directly from bell, they'd be happy to let me share my data plan with my existing phone.
