With all respect, I have my cellular service with another provider who offers Call Control. I still receive spam phone calls. I let the call roll to voice mail. The callers never leave a message. Bell does meet the standards required by the CRTC.
You can find a summary of your options to manage unwanted phone calls from the CRTC here. They include a list of services from all cell and VOIP (Home Phone) providers in Canada which are useful to customers in blocking unwanted calls.
I hope that is helpful.

Call control removes at least spam robot calls. The issue is why Bell does not offer this great tool for mobile accounts versus other competitors offering it for free. I was with Telus before, and since I switched to Bell , it is much worse than before.

As this is a user to user forum and I don't work for Bell, I can't speak to what Bell does or does not do. As I said, I have my cell service with another provider who provides Call Control. In my singular experience, I still get spam calls.

I have noticed that Telus in BC has a control option on home lines that forces callers to key in an additional number when the called line is answered, in the case here it is the number 7. This feature eliminates, Robo calls, is there such a feature available for Bell Mobility lines?

I am quite frustrated with the volume of calls I am receiving on my Bell number, all of them are attempts at scamming North American consumers. I believe it would be prudent for Bell to implement a call control feature to mitigate this issue, as neglecting to do so could potentially result in a loss of business.

I'm hopeful that Bell can have the call control feature wherein if a scam/nuisance call dialed a bell customer they would receive a message that they are blocked from calling the number they dialed., such feature seems to be available with Telus , i love the bell services and the customer service which is why i switched, with this changes it may greatly improved bell services further., hope this may be recognized.

Good Day.
Bell Mobility does not offer Call Control as a feature for cell phones.
Depending on your device, there is an option to filter unknown callers. This will send them directly to voicemail. The numbers will still appear in your list of callers. You can "Silence Unknown Callers" in your mobile device Phone settings. Please check out the Helpful reply in this Bell Forum thread.
Solved: Blocked Callers are sent directly to voicemail - Bell
You can also turn on Call Blocking & Identification in your Phone app. For further information, please visit the support page for your mobile device.
Block or avoid unwanted calls on iPhone – Apple Support (MY)
Block a phone number or contact on your Galaxy phone
Bell has also implemented Universal Network-Level Call Blocking (UNCB) to help protect Canadians against certain types of unsolicited calls. UNCB blocks calls that have blatantly inaccurate Call Display information.

Other technologies offered by Bell don’t beat Call Control offered by their competitors like Telus for FREE. Stop saying that Bell offers Call Control only for home phones. I don’t care.
