When I call someone that does not have my number saved on their phone, they only see my number and not the name and the number together like I see with Rogers/FIDO subscribers.
Does anyone know what is the issue?

It is simple that Bell doesn’t offer that feature. But of course they pretend to be the most advanced provider but there are not. So disappointed from Bell and looking to switch this coming week.

Does anyone know if your name is shown on outbound calls that are made through Bell? Or is your number only shown?

Good Day.
Bell doesn't transmit caller id name for a cell phone line, only your number is transmitted.
If the persons you are calling are seeing a name, it is likely coming from their contact information that was set up for your number in their address book.
Bell's Caller Name Display feature is automatically added to your Bell Mobility phone line if you have Call Display. This will show the caller's name if their network provides it and the call isn't private. If the caller's name isn't available, or if they have Caller Name Display disabled, Bell will display the caller's phone number.
If the incoming call is identified as private, unknown, or anonymous, Bell will not display the caller's name or number.
Please refer to the following weblink document that I have included:
Bell Caller Name Display and how does it work with my Bell Mobility service?
Take care.

I have a Bell Mobility small business account, and my number is the primary line. Currently, when I make outgoing calls, the Caller ID displays my company name. I would like to have the Caller ID updated to display my personal name instead. I called for support but I am told this cannot be done. This can't be true! Can anyone help?

I have what sounds like the same problem. Talking to tech and visiting the store where I purchased the phone (figured they'd know how to check settings better than me) didn't help. Samsung Galaxy. Would really like this resolved.

Good Day & Welcome.
Hello @Kee . Caller Name Display is a feature included with standard Call Display and is available to Bell Mobility customers. It will automatically display the name and number of an incoming caller when the information is available.
You must have standard Call Display on your Bell Mobility phone line (included in the rate plan or as an add-on), as well as a mobile device compatible with Call Display. Please check to see if Call Display is included as part of your rate plan.
The caller’s name will only be displayed if the feature is also provided by the caller’s network, and if the incoming call is not identified as private, unknown or anonymous. Caller Name Display is automatically added to your Bell Mobility phone line if you have Call Display.
The number will be stored on your phone whether you answer the call or not. The name and number of past callers will be logged on to your mobile device:
- If your device offers this functionality.
- If Caller Name Display is also provided by the caller’s network.
- If the incoming call is not identified as private, unknown or anonymous).
Please refer to the following documents and video for further setup instructions on your Samsung Galaxy Smartphone.

Take care.
