Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.
We would like to assist you, but we are somewhat limited in what we can do based on the lack of information you have not provided. Can you provide us with some further details in order to better help you?
- Can you confirm the make and model of your phone?
- Have you recently changed from an Apple to an Android phone or vice versa?
- Is your iOS / OS & all of your Apps fully up to date?
- Have you tried to restart your device?
- Are you unable to send all messages? Can you receive messages?
- Check your phone to make sure you haven’t blocked the number you’re trying to text.
- If you are using an alternate messaging service, have you tried using the phones standard messaging app? E.g. iMessage or Google Messages.
Please check out the following article:
Troubleshooting text, picture and media messaging : Cannot send or receive text messages
Let us know if we can provide you with further assistance.
Take care.

Hey there @SC4 and @HalifaxCustomer ,
Welcome to the community and thanks for your post.
After a quick search, I quickly found various threads on the Samsung community forum of that nature with Samsung S22 owners from various places and services experiencing the same issues and have provided troubleshooting tips and tricks that you can try.
We invite you to check out the following;
- Can't send texts

- Message not sent, service not activated

- Messages on Samsung phone are slow, do not send, or cannot be received

Give those a look and keep the community updated with the results.

I have Samsung S22 ultra, and my phone just started giving me the same "Unable to send text" message as you, this morning, as well as only being able to make emergency calls..it's ike I'm not connectrd to the Bell network.
Did you have any luck sorting this out..?
