Upgraded to iPhone 14 at the end of my two year contract. What do I have to do to initialise new phone and restore content from backup?

Please provide more information. Where did you purchase your old & new devices? Bell Mobility? Apple? Other? Do you own both devices? If so, then they are yours to do as you please. If not, then you need to contact Bell Mobility to transfer & activate your new device & advise you on your old device? Does your new phone have a SIM?

Are both devices Apple products? How did you backup the old device? iTunes? iCloud?

Make sure you have backed up your IPhone first & foremost.

Install your new SIM, then restore your backup from either Apple iCloud or from iTunes.

Hi, do I insert the new sim before transferring from iphone 13 to iphone 15 or after I've inserted the new sim in the iphone 15? It's been 2 years since I've upgraded and I have forgotten.

Thank you!

Can anyone help. My iPhone seems to have some of the settings locked out. I am unable to sms/calls reporting checked for no reporting.

2. Will not allow me to connect to a portable travel wifi

3 I am unable to turn off ‘find my and activation.

i also notice my calls are being diverted especially 1800 numbers. And some of them often someone is personating the company for example Amazon, even Bell support services, my doctors number, dynalife lab when I called to make an appointment. It ended that it was the lab service because the appointment was not taken.

please help, I managed to erase my phone and I am unable to reactivate and download backup.

i am right now without any means of making or receiving calls. My phone is iphone14 pro, only about 4 months. Old

I have been using an iPhone 11 for the past few years. Recently I decided to upgrade to the iPhone 16. It arrived and I started the process to transfer the info from my old phone. I was fighting a bad cold and was also distracted and wasn’t paying close attention and some how I have backed up my son’s iPad to the new phone. Argggh! Is there an easy way to just clear the iPhone 16 and start over again?
