Hello folks,
I would be so grateful if you can enlighten me. I had to miss several important call from my GP because my old iPhone SE somehow blocked her calls because it was from No Caller ID. And I have no idea how to disable this safeguard. If you happen to know how to do it, would you kindly provide the step by step process for this old techno peasant, please.
Thank you in advance. Have a great summer.
Sincerely,
Sage

Hi Zadigre,
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. However, I found out SILENCE UNKNOWN CALLERS has been already OFF, and yet I don't hear any ringtone when my GP called me several times. Do you happen to have any other suspect?
Have a great summer!

When unknown caller or unknown number is calling, do you see it ringing on your phone but with a silent ringtone and also it appears in your recent calls or it goes directly to the voicemail ?

Hi Zadigre,
It goes straight to the voicemail without ringing.

you might have blocked calls activated for unknown numbers... like you can do for other kind of numbers.
go to settings, phone, blocked contacts... and see if there's something in there that may block the calls you are expecting.

Good Day.
Each device is slightly different. You will need to make a similar change to the one I have shown below in your device settings menu.
On your phone, Go to settings > Phone > Silence Unknown Callers. You will need to turn this off.
Take care.
