How to setup my Gmail so that my SMS text will forward automatically to Gmail?

Hi, I will be out of country and will not be able to use my Canadian Bell service there.  While I am away (no Bell roaming service enabled) I still want to receive my Bell SMS text via my Gmail. I heard that I could do this with the Bells SMS gateway. What is the SMS gateway address for Bell users? How to setup my Gmail so that my SMS text will forward automatically to Gmail?

Hi there, @Eric222. Welcome to the Bell Community, and thanks for your post.

The SMS gateway address for Bell users is [yourphonenumber]@txt.bell.ca. They would simply need to insert your phone number and remove the parentheses and message that as your contact number.

From your end, with the SMS gateway address, you can add it to your Gmail settings. For more details, take a look over this Google Community post on Receiving and sending text messages in Gmail
