I recently purchased a Samsung S21 to replace my older S10; It turned out to be the worst decision I have made. If you don't live in an urban area, this is not the phone for you. I live in a rural area and I thought that getting a "newer" phone would be a better one. My old S10 never had any problem running on data and loading any messages or videos; my new and "better" S21, takes up to 3 minutes to load a simple video of 10 MG, it times out very often when searching the web. Please don't bother with this phone, unless you enjoy the feeling of frustration. Out of 10, I give this phone a 2. Buyer beware.

Hey there @Nomore,
Welcome to the Community and thanks for your post.
Is your S21 connecting to the 5G or LTE network (you can normally see it on the top right corner of your screen)?
Make sure your device is set up properly, and that you're using the most up to date operating system. Try this, pop into Apps > Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Network mode > 5G/LTE/HSPA/GSM, if the network is set to that you can select GSM/HSPA/LTE to see if you have a more stable connection.
Try that out and let the Community know the result.

Thank you for replying to my post. I tried to follow your instructions, but there are no tabs that match your description. I showed your email to the people that sold me the phone at the store in Chatham and they could not figure it out either. Bottom line, this Samsung S21 is still a piece of garbage. Thanks for your effort.

Okay then it is not me. I live in a rural area and have been using Samsung A5 (2017) and it works great. I have 2 options on the phone. One will pick up LTE but low bars and sim status will be "104dBm 36 AS", which is on the weak scale. However, when I switch to HSPA+ I get full bars and a very strong signal: "87 dBm 13 As". My phone is not able to update due to being a 2017 model, so I was looking for a new phone.
I first tried the Samsung S22 and the signal was very weak so since my old phone worked better, I returned it under the 15 days. Now I am trying a Moto G Stylus 2020, and the same thing. Very weak signal under LTE which the mfg says 4g lte (the only options were 2G, 3G, and LTE) "104 dBm 36ASU". So, unless a new phone has HSPA capability, I am going to be stuck with poor signal on any new phone if I want to use it out in rural areas.
