Thank you for your question. No, you do not need an eSIM when travelling within Canada. While more remote areas may not have cell service, urban areas such as Calgary do. You can find Bell network coverage here .

Are you a Bell Mobility customer? If so, then is no need for you to purchase an eSIM when travelling in Canada with Bell Mobility.

If you wish, you can check your Bell mobility agreement to confirm your plan & coverage. If your plan includes unlimited calling, texting and data in Canada, then you are covered no matter where you travel within this country.
