Slow data speeds in St. Eustache and Montreal area

Hello,

I just change from Rogers to Bell few days ago and it looks like it was the worst decision. Maximum signal bars are Two, only 5G and internet data almost in existent. I work in Downtown Montreal, I live in St-Eustache and this days I travelled in few surrounding areas and all over the same problem. New iPhones 16.
What is going on with Bell ? Everyone I know they told me is a very good company in cellphones lignes with best coverage and service.

Good morning, @Victor P. Welcome to the Bell Community, and thanks for your post.

For the Community to be better able to assist you, could you please provide further details as to the issues you're experiencing?

Do keep in mind that many factors can limit signal strength; topography, environmental conditions, line of sight to towers, types of buildings in your area, etc.

  • Have you tried changing the network settings in your phone? Sometimes when 5G reception is inadequate, it can be better to change your phone's connection to 4G LTE only.
  • Do you know of anyone else in the area having similar issues?
  • Are you experiencing any issues with calling or SMS? Calls dropping, SMSs delayed in sending or receiving, etc.
  • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
  • Have you gotten in touch with our technical support team to open a ticket?

You may also find our How To article Troubleshooting data connectivity on your Bell Mobility phoneOpens in a new tab or window helpful for troubleshooting tips and advice.

Looking forward to hearing back from you. Best wishes.

It is only the Data. No issue with calls or text at least for what I know. I just did the troubleshooting and it looks like is better now in my Home area. I will see next week how is it in Montreal.

i don’t have good data connection and my phone say no sim and there is no antenna half of the day in every location in montreal and just i can use sos only
