Terrible reception in London, ON area

Hello, I live in Fingal South West of London. Service reception has been bad here since I moved to the area. Was with Virgin, switched to Bell and was told service would be better... It's not. Tried rogers and it was worse. Switched back to Bell... And service still .s. With hundreds of homes being built in Shedden and Fingal in the next few years... Will Bell step up and fix the issue in the area? 2km in in any direction from Fingal or Shedden has better coverage.

Thank you for your question. I checked my favourite cell tower map  which tells you where the towers are located. There is a Bell tower on Union Road, off MacDairmid Line, right between Shedden and Fingal. You can add other provider tower location, which will explain why you found their service unsatisfactory. It is possible that the Bell tower is overloaded or not working well for another reason. I can't comment on Bell's plans for expansion, as they keep that information tightly held for competitive reasons.

Thanks for your reply,

I have contacted tech support multiple times and they told me that the tower is close enough and I should have great signal. They have sent techs out in the past and we've gone through multiple tests to determine what's going on. Then they go off to the tower and all of a sudden I have 3 bars of signal and everything works well... For about a week and then it goes back to 1 bar if I stand in my kitchen or driveway... I assume it's because there is only 1 tower in the area and bell is the only provider that has some coverage for the area... However... With too many connected devices connected to the tower I'm back to dialup speeds and missed or dropped calls...  Like you said... Just overloaded...

I have been trying to contact someone in bell to ask about installing a pico tower at the bell node building in Fingal since they already have a building there and a decent chunk of land. But have gotten no response from anyone regarding it. I have also asked for a hardware rental of a booster device and they told me not an option. I have to buy it myself and hope bell allows it to connect.  Frustrated that in this day and age that I'm still having connection issues...

Thanks again for listening to my rant... Lol

Having a lot of issues with my connection. In the middle of the London city in Ontario, the internet reception is too slow. 4G network of the competitor company is much better.

Hi, I was with Roger's for almost 20 years and switched to Bell 22 months ago for our mobile phones. My wife and I both have the S24 Ultra upgraded from the S20+. Since switching to Bell we have found so many areas where our phones drop calls or internet service. We only go from St. Thomas, London, Sarnia and Toronto is the max. South Western Ontario should have 100% coverage with no issues. After talking to some friends they have the same dead zones with different brands of phones. I was going to upgrade our phones and add my kids two phones but I'm now having my doubts about the reliability of the network. Has anyone else had service issues in this region??
