Thank you for your question. There are many possible reasons for this situation.
- The sender may not have international texting on their cell plan.
- The sender's network may not be interconnected with Bell.
- Your settings may need adjustment. You don't say what type of phone you have, being specific might help.
Let us know more information.

Good Day.
Can you please provide further details? Is Bell Mobility their cell phone carrier? If so, are they on a monthly or prepaid plan? Have they activated roaming?
Customers with prepaid plans are unable to make use of roaming services. They will not be able to receive text messages or calls to their Bell number until they return to Canada.
If they are trying to text you from France they should:
- Turn their data & roaming on in settings on their device. Turn off Airplane mode.
- To get Roam Better – with home data, they need to text ROAM to 8000 or add Roam Better in MyBell.
- Confirm their device is powered on.
- Ensure their device is current, up to date.
- Turn off: Do Not Disturb or Sleep mode on their device.
- Are they using a Bell Mobility SIM or have they purchased another SIM from a local carrier?
Take care.

This is the situation. I am using a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. I am in Canada. I am trying to recieve a verification code via SMS from the French government for one of their services. I am using the correct international phone number format when I enter it in their system and they indicate they support international texting.

I am trying to activate an online casino account with Chumba casino. In order to complete my registration I need to enter my mobile number and click on "send verification code". I have done this multiple times for the past week and I am not receiving a text with the code.
I have emailed back and forth with the casino support trying to figure out the issue, my mobile number shows not yet registered. Everything is good on their end, and they have now directed me to check with my service provider to see if there is some kind of block through the network. I have checked all my Iphone settings, which are fine and set up to allow unknown numbers. I have received many verification codes in the past. I just tried to chat online with Bell but of course it's an AI bot and not an actual human, so I got assistance there either.
Can someone assist me?

- Tapping your security key on a compatible device.
- Login codes from a third party authentication app.
- Text message (SMS) codes from your mobile phone.
If you're not receiving your text message (SMS) verification codes, have you checked to see if you may have turned off text messages from Facebook. Learn how to turn text messages (SMS) back on.
- If you are using the app, have you tried uninstalling & reinstalling the app?
- SMS codes can sometimes take time to arrive. Check your phone again in a while.
- If you are logged in from another browser or device, check your notifications. You may be able to approve this login from there.
- Rebooted your device?
- Have you cleared your cache & cookies?
- Verified your device / web browser is up to date?
- Have you turned off Facebook 2FA & reset?
- Have you checked out your Facebook account Privacy & security settings? Cleared your devices?
- Reset your two-factor authentication by turning it off & then back on from your Security and Login Settings.
Let us know if we can be of further assistance.
Take care.

I recently had to get text authentication. That was great however as I am out of country, I can’t receive the authentication via phone text to access my email. How can I switch authentication to my gmail account as mentioned in Bell help?
