I have the ultimate plan with 200 gigs of data and I sometimes use USB tethering to my PC to watch Youtube videos. I have the add-on to boost video quality to HD streaming for an extra $5 a month. I noticed there is also a separate $5 add-on that offers "Max avail 5G speeds & HD video" which says "Get HD Video Streaming and restore max speed for duration of data allowance". My question is: what is the difference between these two? and will I get faster download speeds with the second one? The phrase "restore max speed" is in question, seems like you're getting an extra thing for no more money. Thanks

Hi there, @Newb101. Welcome to the Bell Community, and thanks for your post.
In regards to your plan, Ultimate tier plans always come included with max 5G+ speeds, but it sounds like your plan in particular has lower quality video streaming speeds. The add-on offered that you're seeing for "Max avail 5G speeds & HD video" is intended for lower tier plans that may have both lower data speeds as well as lower streaming speeds.
Thus in regards to your plan specifically, there is no difference between the two add-ons. Lower tier "Extra" plans however would want the aforementioned offer to maximize both data and streaming speed.
Let us know if you have any further questions. Best wishes.

Hey thanks for the response BellKris,
Yes, my original plan came with SD video streaming, so I upgraded to HD for an extra $5, seems like a great deal so far, I went from a max of 480p to now 1080p.
It seems though that I'm being throttled as my download speeds never go beyond about 7 Mbps when USB tethering, untethered it's way higher. I was hoping for an inexpensive workaround to this, but with current technology probably won't happen.

Hi,
So I upgraded to the ultimate plan (2yr Ultimate 200GB) and I still only have SD streaming on my plan.
