My credit union branch is not in the list when I am supposed to select my bank. I was told via chat there is no way to add it. How is that possible? SOMEONE must be able to add to this list! Any info on that? Thanks

I am trying to set up pre authorized payments on the Bell app, however Steinbach credit union is not found in the financial institutions. Is this able to be added or is possibly listed under a different name?

We've forwarded your financial institutions to be added to the list for you.
@northride and @New Not impressed , we can understand your frustration, however these types of updates will have delays before they are fully implemented in the system. This is due to many factors and verifications have to be made to ensure all of the location branches are properly located and synchronized for the payments to be made to the right accounts/locations.
Please check MyBell periodically to see when the updated list will appear.
Let the community know if you have more questions.

Manitoba credit unions not on the list, with institution # 879 should use the bank: Co-operative Credit Society of Manitoba.

Why wouldn't you just pass the info as mentioned in cshell's response below, or find out what CU's are in this co-op and just list them separately but link them in the background?

Is it possible to have Coast Capital Savings Federal Credit Union (institution # 809) added to the drop down menu as well? So far no one has been able to help me with this or don't seem to understand what my issue is. And yes this credit union can do pre-authorized debit payments.
Can someone from Bell please respond to this? I was on hold for two hours, being passed around from department to department only to be continuously told that there is nothing they can do. And the number I was given to call regarding collections (from Ontario, 1-877-270-3478) just rings and rings until it eventually hangs up. I was basically told "too bad, so sad. You can't get the credit" and "you should just use another bank that's listed". Now I have to miss out on the $10 bill credit due to a error on Bell's part or open up another account with a different bank? This should be simple! I've never had an issue like this before signing up for pre-authorized debit payments in my life. Update your PAP forms! I've been a life-long Bell customer and up until now I haven't had any issues like this. This is very disappointing and frustrating.

Can you please add Libro Credit Union to this list asap. I was told by Bell's sales people it was no problem from any financial institution in Canada to setup autopay.

I am currently paying monthly by credit card automatically. No problem. To get the $10 a month pre-pay credit they say I need to pay by bank debit. This seems odd, but okay. The problem is that neither of my financial institutions is on their drop down list and you can't just enter the name of an institution. Is there a way around this? Thanks

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.
To qualify for the autopay monthly credit of $10 per line, you must have an eligible rate plan & it must be set up for: pre-authorized debit payments.
Have you contacted your financial institution to confirm if they support this type of payment & if so, what their name would be listed as? You should also verify with them the correct spelling as well.
You will receive a 31-day grace period to register for pre-authorized debit payments after adding the autopay credit in an order. If you do not set up pre-authorized debit payment within grace period, the credit will be removed.
For further detailed information, please refer to the following web link:

Take care.

Hi everybody,
Welcome to the community and thanks for your posts.
We've forwarded the missing institutions to be verified and corrected. One thing to keep in mind, any updates of the sort may take some time to be corrected. With this being said, check for app updates and the list periodically to see when it will be updated.
@kellym, in order for us to escalate your concern, we will need the names of the banks in question. One thing to keep in mind is the bank or institution name may not be in alphabetical order and/or may have been simplified to fit the character limits.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
