Device Upgrade After 30 Days

I decided to upgrade my old phone through the Bell Online Store and was asked to return my old device within 30 days. However, Bell has just informed me that my order will be delayed beyond those 30 days. Am I able to hold onto my old phone until the new one arrives? Will I have to go without a phone until the new one arrives to avoid being penalized?

You will need to call Bell Mobility A.S.A.P. to sort this out. In a normal situation, the device needs to be returned in 30 days of your agreement end date. I do not believe there are any extensions for this type of situation, but I could be wrong.

A better option, would of been to return your phone in-store:

  • You would be able to explore all options available to you with an in-store representative, whether you are returning your phone with the Device Return Option, make a trade-in with bonus, or keep the phone and add another line.
  • The phone will be inspected in-store within minutes and you will know the outcome of the inspection on the return immediately.
  • The value of the phone is guaranteed.
