I received a text message from Bell Mobility that I can get 6 months of Crave free. Is this a scam or legitimate?

Go to msg.bell.ca/crave and you will see it's legitimate...
It's good practice that when in doubt about the validity of a link in a message, not to click on it but instead type it into a web browser if it's a legitimate bell.ca web address, which this link is.

You need to provide a lot more details as to whether this is a Scam or not.
Remember one thing. "Do not give out anything to anyone you do not know or trust! Do not share personal information. Do not open links or messages in Emails or text messages!"
Reputable companies such as Bell, banks, utilities & highly regarded services & institutions do not send you messages or make calls such as this! They do not call you asking to provide personal information. "Hang up! Report the fraud! & Delete!"
The current promotion they are offering is as follows:
- Activate or upgrade to one of our new unlimited Ultimate plans.
- Get access to Crave Basic with Ads for a period of 24 months once the activation of your unlimited Ultimate plan is completed.
- You will receive an email or text message with information on how to link your Bell Mobility mobile phone number to a new or existing Crave account.
- Once you have successfully linked your Crave and Bell Mobility accounts, you can start enjoying on-demand access to HBO, HBO Max and more.

As the old saying goes: "If it is too good to be true, then it probably is not true!"
Caution is the better part of valor! STAY SAFE & BE CAREFUL!

When in doubt, always play it safe and never click on any link. It is far better to be safe than sorry!
If you wish to confirm its legitimacy, then you will need to contact Bell Customer service at: 1 866 310-BELL (2355) or *611 from any Bell mobile device.

I received the same text but am not 100% convinced it's real. Surely a real employee of Bell can jump in here to confirm it?

When in doubt. It is best to be safe rather than sorry. It could be legit. I would follow @Vanadiel advise.
If unsure, treat as a Scam!
Take care.

That is not true. Bell will start billing you after six months and it is up to you to cancel it. Trust me.

Received this test message from 433272 today:
“Bell msg: As a thank you for being with Bell Mobility, we've added Crave Basic with Ads to your account, on us. You can create your account at msg.bell.ca/crave to start enjoying the latest series, movies and more including originals from Crave, HBO and Max at no additional charge. A monthly plan with data is required for this offer. FAQs: msg.bell.ca/cravefaq. ( bell.ca/about-us )”
Looks legit based on the URLs but if it is, shame on you Bell for violating your own policies regarding links in text messages. If it’s legit, I apologize and FYI 🙂
