payment notification in the thousands

in your payment notification sector if you show 4 numerals e.g. 7001 , it shows as $7001.00 as payment notification ,  Q: why does it not have a place for decimals and or a confirmation of amount before submission.

Welcome to the Community and thanks for your post. 

When typing in the amount, you simply need to use a period "." in between the dollars and cents.
