I have 3 4k receivers. When I want to stream to one of them, they all show up as Fibe TV. Has anyone been able to give each receiver a unique name? This was an option available on the previous HD receivers.

Hi there @IhorP
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community.
Based on the number of 4K receivers you have, we would assume these are the 7802 models. You can change the device name on each receiver by going to the following:
- Press the Home button
- Go to settings
- Device settings
- Device preference
- About
- Device name
- Select device name and rename it to your preferance
Hope this helps and if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Community.

I vaguely remember that the setup process won’t include a step to name the device. Have you tried the pre-installed bell apps on the dvr to find any similar option?

I checked bell apps and there were no options to give 4k receivers unique names. After speaking with support, it seems this option does not exist. I hope it will be added to the new features list for future releases.

How do I change the name of one of my televisions back to the original name used with the original Giga modem? I have a Fibe box that is dedicated to different tv; I cast to the tv in question from the Fibe tv app on my phone or through Chromecast on my phone. The tv is recognized as "Fibe tv" not the previously named "Family room tv"

Which Fibe tv box? If it’s 5662, I think it has a built-in app for initial setup, which includes the phase of naming. If it’s the latest 7802, it’s under device settings.
