9400 receiver resets while streaming On Demand

My 9400 receiver resets frequently when I am streaming On Demand. It is fine when we are watching live or recorded programs. We called 310BELL and were sent a new receiver,  and it does the same thing. Sometimes resets two or three times in a half  hour show, and sometimes not at all.

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.

Have you checked that your cords & cables are fully seated at the TV & at the receiver? Do yo have any Error Codes or messages on your tv screen? Do you have more than one receiver? If so, are experiencing this on them as well?

Have you rebooted your receiver by unplugging it, waiting 30 seconds & plugging it back in?

If nothing has changed with your picture & sound coming & going & you have no Error Codes, then I would do a receiver reset:

  1. If you can’t see any picture on your TV or it blank & then returns, reset your receiver by pressing and holding the POWER button for 5 seconds.
  2. On your Satellite TV remote, press MENU.
  3. Scroll to and select System Setup.
  4. Scroll to and select Factory Defaults.
  5. Read the warning and select Yes.

Has this resolved your problem? If not, then you will need to contact Bell Satellite: 1 888 759-3474

Take care.
