Access to Bell Netflix when traveling outside of Canada

Hi. Just wondering if you can still access a Bell Netfix account when outside of Canada.

Netflix is available in over 190 countries, and your account is not tied to a specific location. Netflix is a streaming service that can be accessed worldwide in those countries that offer Netflix availability. Simply login to your Netflix account using the Netflix app and or the web browser that you are using in the country that you are visiting.

You can watch Netflix on any supported smart TV, phone, tablet, streaming player, or game console that connects to the internet and offers the Netflix app, or at netflix.com using a computer.

While you can log in and stream from different locations, your account is tied to your home country, meaning the shows and movies available will differ from your usual selections. You may also lose access to downloaded content, and some features like "My List" might not transfer, so it's best to download content beforehand if possible.

FYI Only! You cannot directly access Crave from outside of Canada due to licensing agreements.

I am currently in Thailand, and Netflix is not working. I tried everything, even with a VPN. I'm a bit disappointed.

Which Netflix plan did you subscribe to?

You can access your Netflix account (including the ad-supported plan) from outside Canada as long as you're in a country where Netflix is available and you log in, but the content library will change to that country's offerings due to licensing, and you might see an error if the ad plan isn't supported in the region you're visiting. 

Netflix constantly identifies and blocks IP addresses associated with VPN.

Further Netflix accessibility questions will need to be directed to Netflix. The Standard with ads plan is not available in all countries. It is available to members in the following countries:

• United States
•  Australia
•  Brazil
•  Canada
•  France
•  Germany
•  Italy
•  Japan
•  Mexico
• South Korea
•  Spain
• United Kingdom

Next time, I can only suggest that you download Netflix content to your device for viewing before leaving Canada.

Tks for your help. I finally figured it out. It won't work if connected to a local Wi-Fi network while residing abroad, even when using a VPN.

We need to disable the cellular  Wi-Fi and share its cellular Internet via the Mobile Hotspot.

Then, with the laptop, connect it to the Mobile Hotspot of the Cell phone.

Then it will work without any issues.
