I see the following channel changes have been announced in my most recent (August) Bell bill.

As of Sept. 1, ABC Spark, Disney XD, Disney Junior, La chaîne Disney and Nickelodeon channels will no longer be offered by their content providers. For questions or to add, cancel or modify your services, call 1 866 310-2355.

The provider's announcement, in the link below, was dated July 10, 2025. These channels are not being removed by Bell but are being dropped by their provider in Canada. You can read more information here.

The provider cited declining viewership as their primary reason for removing the channels.

Good Day.

As part of the ongoing changes in Canada’s media landscape, Corus Entertainment Inc. announced on July 10, 2025, that it will be winding down five of its kids’ TV channels by the end of the summer.

If you or your household enjoy these networks, here’s what you need to know:

  • Effective September 1, 2025, the following channels will no longer be available throughout Canada on Bell TV nor or on any other provider.
  • ABC Spark, • Nickelodeon • Disney XD • Disney Jr. • La Chaîne Disney (French Disney Channel)
  • If you’re a fan of Disney content, the core Disney Channel (English) will remain available.

This is a network-level shutdown. Corus is pulling the plug entirely on these feeds, across all distributors, as part of a larger restructuring effort. Corus says the decision follows a “comprehensive review” of its channel lineup, distribution partnerships, and changing viewer habit.

It is somewhat disappointing for families who rely on these channels for kids’ programming.

Take care.

This mean we paying for these channels getting bill lowered?

Good Day.

Pricing & billing information such as this is not readily available nor is it posted by Bell on this website.

These channels are not being removed by Bell but are being dropped by Corus Entertainment Inc. across Canada. This is a network-level shutdown that will affect all providers & their subscribers.

I am not privy to any price changes or adjustments related to this change in programming.

Take care.
