Bell FibeTV App on Roku?

Why is there no FibeTV App for the Roku?   I can't watch Bell in the bedroom, because the TV is a Roku tv.

Does Bell have any plans for a Roku app?

Unless that changed in the past 2 months my TCL tv is RokuOS and Hisense are RokuOS based from the units I have seen Samsung and LG still use their own OS which is not fibe tv app supporting

I'm now using a Bell Streamer (given to me for free by Bell) instead of a second receiver and it works well.

I know there are alternatives, I already use some of them, but it’s not the best experience! You have the technical know-how to do it since Crave and TSN are already available on Roku. It does not make sense that all platforms are supported *except* Roku. This being said, the activity on this post demonstrates there is demand…

Hi getting bell fibe on Friday and have several tvs that are not smart tv’s

I have a fire stick and roku stick how do I get the bell fibe tv app on them

UPDATE

Great news!

The Bell Fibe TV app is now available on select Roku Smart TVs.  For more information including compatible models, check out Support for the Fibe TV app on Roku TVOpens in a new tab or window.

You will be able to install the Fibe TV app on your Fire TV stick.

There are numerous alternatives that can be substituted to allow for Fibe TV streaming. I have included many of them in the list below. Most televisions today have multiple HDMI inputs allowing you to connect an external  device that includes the Fibe TV app.

Supported devices:

  • Bell Streamer
  • Android smartphones and tablets (OS 7.0+)
  • Apple smartphones and tablets (iOS 12+)
  • Apple TV, 4th generation or higher
  • AirPlay on Apple TV and AirPlay-enabled TVs
  • All versions of ChromecastTM
  • Android TV: Sony Android TV, nVIDIA Shield, Xiaomi Mi Box
  • Amazon Fire TV (Basic Edition or higher)
  • Computer: Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge and Safari* browsers by visiting fibetv.ca

Thank you for your input.

Take care.

We are July 2025 and still no bell fibe app on Roku!
juste bought a brand new tv and cannot watch it because of no way of putting the app …. Nonsense!

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.

Bell Fibe TV does not have a dedicated app for Roku devices. You can, however, access Bell Fibe TV content on Roku through other supported devices like Apple TV, Chromecast, or Amazon Fire TV, or by casting from a mobile device to your Roku. Bell Fibe TV customers can also use the Fibe TV app on compatible devices to watch live and on-demand content.

Roku and Android devices are not compatible. Please refer to any one of my earlier replies.

It is questionable whether any company will ever support an application or program that will be able to work across a such a large & diverse design of boxes, HDMI devices & Smart TV's.

Thank you for your input and feedback.

Take care.

I also have a Roku stick on two TVs and one built in. I didn't think there would be an issue.

"You can, however, access Bell Fibe TV content on Roku through other supported devices like Apple TV, Chromecast, or Amazon Fire TV"

This is not correct. You can replace the Roku with these other devices, but they won't allow you to access Fibe TV on your Roku"

Bell just announced that set-top boxes will be phased out starting next year.

With Roku TV's being some of the cheapest and widely available smart TV's, are there now plans to launch the Bell TV app on Roku. I think it would be a wise decision, to retain current subscribers as well as gain interest in potential new subscribers. Also, Crave is already on Roku, I believe so why not Bell TV.

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.

Bell recently announced several new initiatives to reach more customers, enhance resiliency and deliver the easy experience customers want. This is a three-year plan.

Bell does not generally post changes such as this on the community forum. We are not privy to the timing and changes mentioned by Mirko Bibic, President and CEO of BCE Inc.

  • Introduction of tiered wireless plans with rates differing based on class of service, content, and handset financing, available now across Canada.
  • Launch of Internet services in British Columbia and Alberta in the coming weeks.
  • Introduction of Unbreakable Internet in Spring 2026, a unique product proposition that ensures ultra resilient Internet that keeps working during power outages through a combination of wireless backups enabled by Bell Mobility 5G smartphones and the fibre network's passive optical technology.
  • Planned elimination of the TV set-top box, as Bell delivers a cutting-edge, full-service experience through apps on devices customers already own.
  • Expansion of Bell Streaming bundles in select markets to include Crave with TSN/RDS, alongside existing partnerships with Netflix and Disney+, and by integrating high-value third party services for AI, gaming, and security.

I can only suggest that you stay tuned to see what the future brings with these recent announcements.

The keyword is "content". For example, you can login to the Roku Sportsnet app with your Bell Fibe TV account to access Sportsnet content that you already pay for.
