Bell not listed on TCM app to view movies

I have downloaded the TCM app and there are many movies to view.  Listed tv providers do not include Bell, in spite of paying Bell to include TCM in our package.  I have contacted TCM and they have been trying to add Bell.  They suggested we contact Bell for help listing it with TCM so that we can view their movies on demand on the app.  Any suggestions who to contact?   Thank you

Good day.

There is little anyone on this forum can do to help you in this matter.

Bell does not have an agreement with TCM that allows for it to play all of their network programming. You can only watch live TV & it must be included in your TV package. This also holds true with a number of other networks. E.g. CBS, ABC, Fox NBC, CNN, Paramount, etc.

There are rules governed by the CRTC that are included as part of the broadcasting licence agreements for Bell Media, Rogers, Corus, etc.  This also includes programming, advertising, Canadian content, accessability, etc.

You can voice your opinion by contacting the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission. I have included a web link for their site: Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission | CRTC

Take care.

Thanks for the reply.  Disappointing, but I understand it.  I thought I had placed the TCM app on my desktop but clicking on it, I see it's merely the TCM website.  That's where all the great movies are shown.  Maybe some day......

Thank you for the reply.  Hopefully this will change sometime.

Thank you for the explanation  🙁

Shaw can do it so your explanation is not acceptable

As this is a user to user forum, we have no input into programming agreements that Bell may or may not have. You may wish to contact TCM directly, however.
