Is it possible to program a universal remote control to work with the new Fibe TV Wifi set-top-box Arris VIP7802? I am unable to find a code in order to do this. I would like to be able to control everything with one remote. Does anybody know the code? I contacted Bell directly and I didn't get the answer.

Same thread but a different angle-
How can I control the 7802 with Google Assistant without the remote? I'd like to be able to just say to my Home Hub: "Hey Google, go to TSN1".
If it's not directly supported, any suggestions on a work around?

I have Google TV App on my iPhone and it’s able to connect with the box just like the remote.

One of the issues in general with this Arris 7802 for me has been using universal remotes with the Arris box - its been buggy.
I've got a Logitech Harmony remote and a SofaBaton U2. Both have IR support for the Arris device, but is missing some buttons such as the home button. Both universal remotes offer learning IR signals, which I did for the home menu button for example, but using that is hit and miss. Sometimes the home menu will pop up, sometimes it will pop up then disappear, sometimes it will even bring up the app menu. I'll chalk this up to yet another buggy issue with the Arris product. The quality of this Arris product is really lousy. I'm just astounded that Bell is not only using it, but failing to address the major issues that people have been. Who would have thought when signing up with bell that you would have such ridiculous issues with this box.
