Crave with Ads doesn't work? App keeps crashing.

Does anyone else have serious issues with Crave? It comes as part of my phone package but I'm quite shocked at how bad it is..... CBC Gem has a better working app and it's free. The fact that people pay for this is embarrassing, for such a large media corporation in Canada, the streaming app is so garbage. Crashes constantly, media player takes too long to load. I've seen 45 minutes of ads and 15 minutes of show because it keeps crashing and when you re-open it shows ads again. I would rather have a cheaper phone bill than be given this garbage streaming service, like I actually am offended it was included in my package.

Which device you are using, and does impact multiple devices? Are you connected to your home Wi-Fi or a mobile network? Does it happen during a specific show/movie? What troubleshooting have you completed so far? 

Please try out the following, and let us know how everything goes. 

  • Make sure the Crave app and your devices are up to date.
  • Clear Cache & data on the app.
  • Delete & reinstall the App.
  • Restart your device & modem.
  • Ensure you do not have a VPN/Ad blocker active on the device.
