Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.
There are no device ethernet settings perse to setup for Fibe TV.
Before following the steps below, please ensure your Bell modem is set up and turned on.
- Connect one end of the HDMI cable into the Fibe TV Box.
- Connect one end of the Ethernet cable into the Fibe TV Box
- Connect one end of the Ethernet cable into any yellow Ethernet port (LAN) on the modem
- Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to your TV.
- Connect the power supply to the Fibe TV Box.
- Connect the power supply into a power outlet.
- Using your TV remote, not the Fibe TV Voice Remote, choose the correct HDMI input on your TV.
- Wait for instructions to appear on your TV and follow the steps. This may take up to 5 minutes.

Hello,
can I use the Ethernet port to connect my tv to the internet using hardwire like I use to be able to with my previous bell fibe tv box I had ? My tv keeps giving me an error msg.

Yes, you can use an ethernet connection from the 7802 receiver to the modem. Are you able to share the error message / code you are receiving?

I would like to connect my 7802 box to the modem with an ethernet cable. After I connect the cable do have to go into device settings on the box or just reboot the 7802 box? Thanks for any help.
