Fibe TV volume is lower compared to Fibe TV app

I am also using my TV screen as a second screen on my laptop.  But the TV speakers provide a louder volume when used via my laptop rather than used just for Fibe TV.  I have increased the Fibe TV volume to 100, but it is still quieter than when I watch the same show via the Fibe-TV app on my laptop.  How can I fix this?

Ok, I found it.  I went to Settings, Support, Remote settings, and then under Remote Control selected Setup. There I found "Receiver volume" and was able to increase it from the default of 2 to 8 (max is 15).  That fixed it!  Now I can get the same Volume ranges on my FibeTV as I get on the Fibe-App on my laptop.

Did you adjust the volume button on bell.ca? The default volume is very low on the website.

By the way, the pic quality outside Bell platforms on TV is always capped at 2.1 GB/h, while the same 1080P feed is 3 G/h on TV screen when you aren’t casting the website. The CC also doesn’t allow customization on the website.

I have gone to bell.ca, but don't see anywhere or anything that allows me to adjust the volume button.

Where have you checked?

Hey there @Volume-Issue.

Welcome to the Bell Community.

Have you tried adjusting the volume on your TV set as well?

We look forward to hearing back from you.

- Patricia

On my TV I have gone to Settings, Device, Device settings, Device Preferences, Sound. There The "System sounds" toggle was already on, so I turned on the "Pass Volume Keys to HDMI". This had no effect on the TV volume. I changed "Surround Sound - select formats" to Auto, but none of the formats listed could be activated - I clicked on each of them.  There was no "Slider" to adjust the default volume.

Hi Patricia, please see my response to AlexS a few minutes ago.

I am currently watching the same show on Fibe on my TV and on the Fibe-App on my laptop.  I have the volume set at 25 on the Fibe-App on my laptop, but when I switch the Source on my TV from the laptop back to Fibe, I can hardly hear anything and have to turn up the volume on the TV to its maximum - 100 to get almost the same volume.

How do I get to the volume button on the bell.ca website?

I can't find a "volume button" (or slider) in the Fibe TV settings on my TV either.  Going to Settings, Audio and visual, Audio, gets me to the same Sound Settings as described in my Reply half an hour ago.

Can you provide some details? Bell Fibe or Satellite TV? Do you have more than one TV? Is the problem the same on all TV's & devices? Did you restart TV & audio sound bar? ( if you have one).

Did you check all of your TV & receiver connections? Did you check your TV settings? Verify TV HDMI & Audio settings? TV & Bell Fibe / Satellite remote working okay? Batteries Ok?

Did you reboot the receivers by unplugging them for 20-30 seconds? Did you do the same with the modem? (This can upwards of 5-7 minutes.)

Do you have Internet? Is it working?

Did you try using the Bell Virtual Repair tool?

It’s is my tv, fibe tv, the sound is completely mute even when I adjust the the volume of the sound. I have checked everything and it is all in place. I have rebooted and troubleshooting the system, nothing has worked so I’m very confused on what’s happening

If you tried everything I suggested & nothing changed, I have one more idea. On your Bell remote, go to Menu > Settings > Audio and visual > Select Digital audio > Select Stereo > Save & back out to TV.

After doing this & you still do not have audio, I would contact Bell FibeTV Support at: 310-BELL

Is there a way to control the volume on the receiver though FIBE APP ? My converter isn’t working and volume on the receiver is all the way down
