Until recently I've been able to stream channels wirelessly from my laptop via Airplay2 to my tv but now I get a black screen with only the audio playing. My iPad works fine. Anyone else having this issue?

Hey Community,
Thank you for all your participation. We have confirmed there is a known issue affecting Airplay streaming in some instances. Apple has pushed an update to their software on Smart TVs that resolves this issue. Once you have received the update to v1.37.0, you should not experience further streaming issues.
If you have received the update, and are still experiencing streaming issues, please let us know.
Thanks!

Sometimes my Apple TV box has this kind of issue when connecting via Streamer cable & AirPlaying from phones. Just un & replug the cable will do. However, the feed on all non-tv devices r all 2.1GB/hour instead of 3 in the settings. Though I was told by online agents that streaming data usage when AirPlaying from iOS to tv boxes will be same as using the big screen directly, AirPlaying from Macs seemed to be copying the screen only. So I suggest u can just leave ur laptop and cast from ur iPad only from now on.

No, Airplay is still not working. I have to go hardwired into my tv. I've opened a Bell case but haven't heard back. I'll post an update once I hear back.

I’ve reported a lot of tech issues b4 but never get a follow-up.😂 The only reply I got for once is a gift-card-related issue. Gl to u for getting used to AirPlaying from the iPad.
